An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Lennartsson in the 7th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 12 in the game by Bo Lennartsson from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. In the 17th minute Quimeras Jrs. were awarded a corner. Sebastean Battaglia went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Quimeras Jrs.'s Hasan Tahsin Vefik got a free kick in the 18th minute. A hard shot 21 in the game by Sebastean Battaglia from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Victorio Weather sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Elias Jordy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 36 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastean Battaglia came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 40th minute of play forced Quimeras Jrs.'s goalkeeper Elias Jordy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Elias Jordy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Aaron Bertol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Bo Lennartsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bo Lennartsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejandro Gaspard in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Tomas Illescas put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Elias Jordy. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Hasan Tahsin Vefik hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Gaspard in the 79th minute of the match. When Alejandro Gaspard came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Quimeras Jrs. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Gaspard couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Gaspard in the 84th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Alejandro Gaspard sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. If Alejandro Gaspard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There was no doubt that Quimeras Jrs. were the better team. Quimeras Jrs.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
