Rogelio Kismi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 75 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Quimeras Jrs. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Emeterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador played a much better game than Quimeras Jrs. and deserved their victory. The Quimeras Jrs. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
