The referee ignored Gortaty's protests and gave Wiktor Pionek a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, Wiktor Pionek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Salvador's Moises Fernandino quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gustaw Basaik, made in the 6th minute of the game. Aleksander Bykowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Abram Luque managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Abram Luque was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karol Kopacz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moises Fernandino kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Bartlomiej Dlugi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Zorita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Bartlomiej Dlugi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grzegorz Wodaszak hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes, El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Karol Kopacz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Salvador reached it. Gustaw Basaik charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustaw Basaik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, Gortaty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaw Basaik to maneuver through the defense. Gortaty's Karol Kopacz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Gortaty from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute Bartlomiej Dlugi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karol Kopacz made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Moises Fernandino sent off a good shot on target. After 73 played minutes Gortaty got a freekick which was hit by Franciszek Wicherek. In the 78th minute, Bartlomiej Dlugi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gortaty fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Karol Kopacz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Luque in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Bartlomiej Dlugi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gortaty's Bartlomiej Dlugi got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
