Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márk Pécsi having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laureano Christobal. 21 minutes into the game, Bora Türehan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Yüksel Çınar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute, Yüksel Çınar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bora Türehan during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Karaburun FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bora Türehan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Márk Pécsi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 32nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. After 35 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Márk Pécsi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Bora Türehan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. In the 46th minute Bora Türehan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karaburun FC were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Laureano Christobal took the corner. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bora Türehan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yüksel Çınar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bora Türehan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bora Türehan in the 55th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bora Türehan in the 57th minute of the match. Karaburun FC were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Laureano Christobal took the corner. After having played for 59 minutes, Bora Türehan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karaburun FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bora Türehan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Bora Türehan came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 69 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Márk Pécsi managed to make a qualified save. Karaburun FC's players were relieved. With his leg Márk Pécsi managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 85 minutes of play, Karaburun FC's Bora Türehan made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Laureano Christobal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Bora Türehan took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1.
