An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of play forced Szittyák SE rege's goalkeeper Péter Temesvári to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Endre Zentay hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Péter Temesvári having to interfere. Szittyák SE rege's Péter Temesvári played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of play forced Szittyák SE rege's goalkeeper Péter Temesvári to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Szittyák SE rege's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ecuador's Agustín Saelices to fire away a dangerous shot which Péter Temesvári despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dávid Fenyvesi in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dávid Fenyvesi in the 24th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Cristian Sancho had to leave the field with a concussion. After 29 minutes, Vendel Bács mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Szittyák SE rege and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ecuador made a substitution. Diego Mancebo replaced Cristian Sancho. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the match, Szittyák SE rege's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Mancebo came free, but Péter Temesvári reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Montenegro during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 39 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 41 in the game by Kornél Udvarhelyi from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. Péter Temesvári took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

After a rather tough play, Szittyák SE rege's Imre Cseh got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Felix Montenegro in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Péter Temesvári, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 60th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Péter Temesvári was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 64th match minute, Szittyák SE rege was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vendel Bács to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Toldi came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Szittyák SE rege's zone, Diego Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Péter Temesvári came out of the goal and Diego Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Péter Temesvári saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Péter Temesvári having to interfere. Ecuador's Diego Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Szittyák SE rege fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
