Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Felix Emmanuel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joe Camp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 7th minute of the match. Cats and dogs's Joe Camp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 9th minute of play. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joe Camp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Téo Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Emmanuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joe Camp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, Sam Yilmaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Emmanuel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Lacasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 28th minute Cats and dogs were awarded a corner. Nicolas Hamard went to the cornerflag to take it. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Cats and dogs's Edmond Saury. But to his dismay, Edmond Saury quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 32nd minute of play forced Cats and dogs's goalkeeper Joe Camp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joe Camp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Sam Yilmaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joe Camp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Cats and dogs's Redouane Goude managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Macos Graciani in the 44 minute of the game. When Franklin Boch fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cats and dogs's protests and gave Franklin Boch a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th match minute, Cats and dogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Boch to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felix Emmanuel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Felix Emmanuel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Joe Camp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Joe Camp came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Cats and dogs made a substitution. Gaétan Bouchard replaced Felix Emmanuel. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 76th minute. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joe Camp in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joe Camp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joe Camp was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 92 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joe Camp was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cats and dogs's Gaétan Bouchard got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cats and dogs.
