Calamuchita's Florian Kicia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 8th minute of play. Florian Kicia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 9th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Joel Gaona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florian Kicia was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 19th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Kicia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florian Kicia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The throw-in from Leonardo Leoz in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.A. Calamuchita's Jonathan Maule. Florian Kicia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 32nd minute of the match. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Facundo Cadaval cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Florian Kicia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A. Calamuchita's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Florian Kicia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Florian Kicia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 43rd minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Han Hui made a kick off. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th match minute, C.A. Calamuchita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Bartolome to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Joel Gaona in the 56th minute really tested Florian Kicia's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Han Hui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Mexico's Joel Gaona in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. Calamuchita's goalie prevented a goal. In the 65th match minute, C.A. Calamuchita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bronislovas Geležinis to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 65 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florian Kicia made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Facundo Cadaval sent off a good shot on target. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Han Hui in the 72nd minute of the match. Florian Kicia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 74th minute of play. Reynaldo Peruanton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Maule kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes, Mexico's Joel Gaona shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Florian Kicia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mexico reached it. The supporters of Mexico booed when C.A. Calamuchita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Truls Kirkemo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Alberto Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Leoz made in the 83rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lautaro Mancebo. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Facundo Cadaval took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Florian Kicia to make any attempt to save it. The C.A. Calamuchita fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
