In the 6th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Nordmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia's Joshua Garrido got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. André Nordmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. André Nordmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 17th minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Fagrell in the 18th minute of play. André Nordmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Cazalla couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC Blueskatterna's André Nordmark. André Nordmark was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd match minute, FC Blueskatterna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joachim Bergman to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Nordmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in FC Blueskatterna's zone, Axel Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Nordmark came out of the goal and Axel Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, FC Blueskatterna's André Nordmark got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with André Nordmark in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Blueskatterna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Falkrans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Montenegros short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got André Nordmark to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. FC Blueskatterna's Östen Wik was substituted for Joachim Bergman. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after FC Blueskatterna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kevin Mastache took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Pascual Carballar managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. André Nordmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Isaksson in the 72nd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Abram Secada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Nordmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Isaksson came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's Kevin Mastache managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nils Falkrans in the 78 minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, André Nordmark successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Abram Secada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Nordmark read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. André Nordmark was a little too slow when Abram Secada got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santino Seco got free with André Nordmark in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ola Haegg in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Abram Secada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Nordmark was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Colombia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
