Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Lokman Taşkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barbaros Celvet was extremely unlucky when he, in the 12th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the game, İldeniz Seylan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. İldeniz Seylan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lokman Taşkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 28th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Özcan Onal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 3-0. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Abel Carballo charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Carballo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İldeniz Seylan, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Akgün Onursal made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Barbaros Celvet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AdanaDemirSpor and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Barbaros Celvet hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by AdanaDemirSpor's Özcan Onal. But to his dismay, Özcan Onal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. If Barbaros Celvet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özcan Onal in the 78th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özcan Onal in the 80th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AdanaDemirSpor had played much better football throughout.
