Nicolai Rasmer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Pedro Manzanares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Márton Herczegh scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nikolai Vejtsbøl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 25th minute of the match. Márton Herczegh struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dværgetved. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Márton Herczegh made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Gabriel Batistuta put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Manzanares. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márton Herczegh in the 54th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Dværgetved booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Dværgetved fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Dværgetved's Nicolai Rasmer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dværgetved's Thorkil Jardenfeldt was substituted for Emil Klitmark. Kevin Mastache's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikolai Vejtsbøl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Márton Herczegh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márton Herczegh in the 72nd minute of play. Dværgetved's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
