Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tancredo Manguyague having to interfere. In the 85th minute of the match Snorlax FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mario Jesus Allu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Horacio Jesus Sepúlveda made a great header on Snorlax FC's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Tancredo Manguyague made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target.
