Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when José Antonio Parra sent off a good shot on target. When Lautaro Puig fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Sheep United's Isidoro Thomas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The nice shot from José Antonio Parra in the 23rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Benito Sanz had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Isidoro Thomas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Isidoro Thomas really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isidoro Thomas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 28 minute of play. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Thomas in the 30th minute of play. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Isidoro Thomas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Isidoro Thomas really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. 37 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Thomas came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sheldon Cooper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Isidoro Thomas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. Sheep United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Thomas in the 51st minute of play. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, José Antonio Parra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Cao Xi Zhan struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sheep United. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Thomas in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. 60 minutes into the match, Isidoro Thomas notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. José Antonio Parra hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sheldon Cooper, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. José Antonio Parra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sheep United's José Antonio Parra got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sheldon Cooper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Thomas scored 11-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
