Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Patrik Johansson made the kick off and thus started the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Giliusson having to interfere. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Georg Giliusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Quetzal Flyers Hammers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Georg Giliusson quite easily take care of the ball. After 8 minutes, Krister Torstensson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quetzal Flyers Hammers and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Quetzal Flyers Hammers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krister Torstensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita, 9 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Quetzal Flyers Hammers's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Georg Giliusson came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Georg Giliusson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Georg Giliusson came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 20th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Georg Giliusson. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 26 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Georg Giliusson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Georg Giliusson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Krister Torstensson hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Patrik Johansson hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Georg Giliusson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Georg Giliusson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Georg Giliusson. Georg Giliusson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Georg Giliusson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A well done corner resulted in Felix Montenegro drilling the ball in to score 0-5 behind Quetzal Flyers Hammers's goalkeeper. 60 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Georg Giliusson. Georg Giliusson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 63 minutes into the game, Luis Andino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Georg Giliusson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfons Mattsson during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alfons Mattsson kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Quetzal Flyers Hammers! When the match had been going on for 75 minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Georg Giliusson. In the 79th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georg Giliusson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Georg Giliusson. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. In the 89th minute, Cristian Sancho fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Georg Giliusson, passed just outside the right post. Georg Giliusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Georg Giliusson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 92nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georg Giliusson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Georg Giliusson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 97 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Georg Giliusson. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Quetzal Flyers Hammers.
