Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 9th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ersen Bumba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Ersen Bumba came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Ersen Bumba managed to get in a good position for a shot. ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ersen Bumba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Numan Afak in the 21st minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A well done corner resulted in Erman Kayıhan drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind Chile's goalkeeper. After 25 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Casaus. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ersen Bumba in the 26th minute of play. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Ersen Bumba tried to sneak it across the goal line. A very nice done corner allowed Miroslaw Majorski to score against Thiago Pliego in Chile's goal. 2-1 after 33 minutes. The supporters of ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Casaus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Fontirroig hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 43 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Felix Garrido. ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Carlos Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chile's Alan Tamayo got a free kick in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Lacasa to make the kick off. After 53 minutes ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. 54 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Numan Afak came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ersen Bumba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 75th match minute, ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erman Kayıhan to maneuver through the defense. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Numan Afak, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Carlos Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 84th minute of the match.
