The supporters of Venezuela booed when BlueLionesse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radu Pânzaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 19 in the game by Cristinel Nicodim from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BlueLionesse's goalie prevented a goal. Cristinel Nicodim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristinel Nicodim in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Cristinel Nicodim sent off a good shot on target. BlueLionesse's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Radu Pânzaru in the 47th minute. The corner ended in Radu Pânzaru almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes of play, BlueLionesse's Octavian Isărescu made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 62 minutes of play, BlueLionesse's Mihail Albu made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Nicodim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristinel Nicodim in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! In the 75th minute Mihail Albu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Cristinel Nicodim came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mihail Albu went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. After 84 minutes of play, BlueLionesse's Mihail Albu made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! When BlueLionesse's Cristinel Nicodim in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristinel Nicodim, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Octavian Isărescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
