Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Moises Fernandino kicked off to start the match. Moises Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Andriescu having to interfere. Horaţiu Găină fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. In the 8th minute Gigel Paveliuc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Andriescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Moises Fernandino's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Abram Luque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victor Andriescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 16th minute of play. Iacob Nedelcea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of ⚽RAE⚽ booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Carvallo. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Sandu Voicescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. ⚽RAE⚽'s supporters rose to their feet, but Sandu Voicescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 30 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Magrina. In the 32nd minute, Iacob Nedelcea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horaţiu Găină got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute Gigel Paveliuc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandu Voicescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sandu Voicescu ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horaţiu Găină to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Andriescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the match, Horaţiu Găină notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 65 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Horaţiu Găină came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Horaţiu Găină had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gigel Paveliuc might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gigel Paveliuc ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 70th minute, Horaţiu Găină left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ⚽RAE⚽ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Gigel Paveliuc might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gigel Paveliuc ran back to his position shaking his head. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horaţiu Găină in the 76th minute of the match. Toader Cojan kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horaţiu Găină in the 81st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horaţiu Găină in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. If Abram Luque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horaţiu Găină, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Paveliuc in the 92nd minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Fernandino got free with Victor Andriescu in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
