Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cícero Teles started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Stig-Åke Alkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prodromos Britzolidis was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Cícero Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salem Gunners BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Cícero Teles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salem Gunners BK's Prodromos Britzolidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Salem Gunners BK's goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Salem Gunners BK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The long shot by Viggo Berggren in the 25th minute really tested Julio Vera's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 26 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Salem Gunners BK's Prodromos Britzolidis. Prodromos Britzolidis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th match minute, Salem Gunners BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Skräddare to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prodromos Britzolidis having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Svante Gustafsson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salem Gunners BK's Prodromos Britzolidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 44th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Salem Gunners BK's Prodromos Britzolidis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Salem Gunners BK from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cícero Teles in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Salem Gunners BK:s goal. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Salem Gunners BK's Prodromos Britzolidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Salem Gunners BK were awarded a corner. Viggo Berggren went to the cornerflag to take it. Prodromos Britzolidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 64th minute. Prodromos Britzolidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 71st minute of play. Prodromos Britzolidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 73rd minute of the match. Salem Gunners BK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Viggo Berggren in the 78th minute. The corner led Salem Gunners BK's Viggo Berggren to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 85th play minute Cristian Sancho came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Prodromos Britzolidis. 1-2.
