Wilfredo Frederico was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas Illescas's late challenge caught a Dark Knight FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Illescas helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Hugo Gaur put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Gaur, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Dark Knight FC's Niceto Min got a free kick in the 21st minute. Hugo Gaur hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfredo Frederico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Wilfredo Frederico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorio Ihazintu in the 35th minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Dark Knight FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Gerazan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. A hard and well directed shot from Isidro Chinto led 41 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 2-1. Thanks to some nice moves Victorio Ihazintu could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Gaur made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Ihazintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Wilfredo Frederico was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Illescas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 53 minute of play. Victorio Ihazintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Victorio Ihazintu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, Dark Knight FC's goalkeeper Wilfredo Frederico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. In the 86th minute, Isidro Chinto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. In the 92nd minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 96 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Isidro Chinto who took care of the corner kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dark Knight FC fully deserved thier win.
