Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Jonathan Joestar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Joestar having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beşir Sehrud in the 28th minute of the match. Swift GTi were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lucio Negrete took the corner. The corner led Swift GTi's Lucio Negrete to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Jonathan Joestar came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Beşir Sehrud stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Primitivo Andino made in the 50th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Agustín Saelices however managed to control. Joško Gvardiol hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Swift GTi's Rodas Justo got a free kick in the 55th minute. Jonathan Joestar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Swift GTi's Beşir Sehrud sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Primitivo Andino got a throw-in 69 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Felix Montenegro. The supporters of Swift GTi booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 84th minute of play forced Swift GTi's goalkeeper Jonathan Joestar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
