The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Gandolfo Sánchez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Daniel Zorita sped through F.C Un dia de partit's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gandolfo Sánchez. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gandolfo Sánchez. Gandolfo Sánchez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 35th minute of play forced F.C Un dia de partit's goalkeeper Gandolfo Sánchez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gandolfo Sánchez came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. 39 minutes into the match, F.C Un dia de partit's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Gandolfo Sánchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gandolfo Sánchez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gandolfo Sánchez having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Domeka Alonso made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the F.C Un dia de partit defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gandolfo Sánchez. Cristian Sanchos short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Gandolfo Sánchez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Juanfran Jauregui hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Luis Andino took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Gandolfo Sánchez to make any attempt to save it. Gandolfo Sánchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 65th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Gandolfo Sánchez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gandolfo Sánchez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gandolfo Sánchez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, F.C Un dia de partit's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Gandolfo Sánchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 0-13 when Felix Montenegro sped through F.C Un dia de partit's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gandolfo Sánchez. Gandolfo Sánchez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luis Andino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-14 in the 84 minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gandolfo Sánchez. Gandolfo Sánchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 95th minute of the match. Gandolfo Sánchez made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target.
