Alfredo Ferrant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluigi Buffon having to interfere. With 6 minutes on the clock, Benito Madrid commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 1-0 came through a penalty shot after 9 played minutes, when Apocalipse FC:s Marcos Rodrigues calmly waited for Bolivia:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Tiago Gabriel Brodel hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Mario Fernandino was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Marcos Rodrigues in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Camilo Freixa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Eduardo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camilo Freixa was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Marcos Rodrigues capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcos Rodrigues really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Marcos Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the game, Marcos Rodrigues lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Camilo Freixa. Alfredo Ferrant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gianluigi Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Rodrigues was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Apocalipse FC's Marcos Rodrigues made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Freixa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Rodrigues in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Alejandro Villa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruy Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Rodrigues in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Freixa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 70 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Rodrigues came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduardo Fontirroig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Gianluigi Buffon made a huge save. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Rodrigues in the 78th minute of play. After 82 minutes, Nico Alcântara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Apocalipse FC and the Bolivia players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Apocalipse FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Nico Alcântara hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Rodrigues in the 87th minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Chicote's late challenge caught a Apocalipse FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Chicote helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Julio Chicote. In the 91st minute Marcos Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ruy Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Apocalipse FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
