The audience thought a goal was coming when 袁森威 got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 12th minute of play forced 【粤】佛山黄飞鸿龙狮队's goalkeeper 姜光勇 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 【粤】佛山黄飞鸿龙狮队's 姜光勇 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Franco in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind 【粤】佛山黄飞鸿龙狮队's goalkeeper 姜光勇, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If 袁森威 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 姜光勇 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the match, 【粤】佛山黄飞鸿龙狮队's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but 姜光勇 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by 【粤】佛山黄飞鸿龙狮队's 袁森威. But to his dismay, 袁森威 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 【粤】佛山黄飞鸿龙狮队's 姜光勇 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 姜光勇 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, 【粤】佛山黄飞鸿龙狮队's 余树默 got a free kick in the 38th minute. 汪皓卫 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Joaquin Gayoso throw himself and got hold of the ball when Cesare Antonacci in the 46thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Escribano got free with 姜光勇 in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaime Cazalla hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesare Antonacci in the 58th minute of play. After 62 minutes Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 谢广奕 who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Cesare Antonacci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Cesare Antonacci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 姜光勇 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The supporters of Uruguay booed when 【粤】佛山黄飞鸿龙狮队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesare Antonacci didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, 【粤】佛山黄飞鸿龙狮队's Cesare Antonacci got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 邵潮川 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. In the 93rd match minute, 【粤】佛山黄飞鸿龙狮队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 余树默 to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Uruguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for 【粤】佛山黄飞鸿龙狮队.
