After a rather tough play, Peru's Emmanuel Reyes got a free kick in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Stasio Burdzel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa, 1-1. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Karol Koprowski in the 9 minute of the game. In the 16th minute, De krokante kroketjes's Stasio Burdzel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 21st minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickael De Koster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mickael De Koster prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 22nd minute of play forced De krokante kroketjes's goalkeeper Mickael De Koster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Stasio Burdzel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mickael De Koster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, De krokante kroketjes's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Mickael De Koster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickael De Koster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, De krokante kroketjes's Stasio Burdzel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. 34 minutes into the game, Stasio Burdzel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa. Stasio Burdzel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. The supporters of Peru booed when De krokante kroketjes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Kohn didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Luz Tejedor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luz Tejedor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 43 played minutes De krokante kroketjes got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Meireles. The corner ended in 邵城邦 almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Stasio Burdzel made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Mickael De Koster managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Peru's Julian Murillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Mickael De Koster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Luz Tejedor made a precise shot to the right of Mickael De Koster. De krokante kroketjes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. In the 63rd minute, Peru's Julian Murillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-3. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Mickael De Koster made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Stasio Burdzel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. De krokante kroketjes made a substitution. Lieven Cromefeldt replaced Mickael Goebelens. Mickael De Koster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 77th minute of the match. Julian Murillo had several of the De krokante kroketjes's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 77 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-4 score and a disappointed Mickael De Koster as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Peru players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
