Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off. In the 15th minute, Mugur Aldulea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olimpiu Oncescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stoicii's Olimpiu Oncescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 26 minutes Stoicii's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Espiga who took care of the corner kick. Esteban Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olimpiu Oncescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute of the game Alexandru Zaki made a throw-in which Petruț Lovinescu played forward. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Aldulea in the 41st minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudiu Popescu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Claudiu Popescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Zbora struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stoicii. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Popescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a free kick in the 59th minute. Ştefan Nebunu's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ştefan Nebunu helped the player get up and apologised. Ştefan Nebunu kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Stoicii's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olimpiu Oncescu came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the game, Tudor Baran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stoicii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Tudor Baran kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Sebastian Villa took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olimpiu Oncescu. Olimpiu Oncescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Claudiu Popescu struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edmundo Espiga hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After 92 played minutes Sebastian Villa rounded Stoicii's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Edmundo Espigas short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Olimpiu Oncescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Honduras played a much better game than Stoicii and deserved their victory. The Stoicii players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
