Alex Dijoux ran back to his position shaking his head. 6 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Dijoux came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clark Kent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Alex Dijoux scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Day, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Clark Kent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 24th minute of play forced Zorros del Desierto's goalkeeper Clark Kent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Dijoux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Monty Rogers made a precise shot to the right of Clark Kent. Zorros del Desierto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Alex Dijoux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 35 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Clark Kent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Edward Mcdonald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Zorros del Desierto's Pape Lillo got a free kick in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Clark Kent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute of the match USA got a corner. Zorros del Desierto's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cassius Byrne ran over to the corner to take the kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. Clark Kent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 55th minute of play. Zorros del Desierto made a substitution. Zenaido Oviedo replaced Pape Lillo. Edward Mcdonald's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clark Kent read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. If Allan Silm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Silm, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The corner led to USA's Edward Mcdonald getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After some careless play in the USA defense, Allan Silm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. Inge Rolig hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Clark Kent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam Campbell, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Jenson Smith hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. In the 80th minute, Allan Silm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zorros del Desierto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Silm, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Clark Kent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Campbell in the 91st minute of play. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Silm in the 93rd minute of play. Clark Kent was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marco Baker showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 95 minute of play. Zorros del Desierto succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though USA had controlled the match.
