Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernan Ler in the 31st minute. Rolando Misael could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Fractal FC's Arturo Lorien got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Lorien came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fractal FC's Cipriano Misael got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute Fernan Ler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Bartosz Ziemniak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rolando Misael took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Fractal FC made a substitution. Ramiro Montae replaced Cipriano Misael. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Ler in the 84th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Mariano Lacasa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bartosz Ziemniak. The goal made the score 3-2. Chile's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
