Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Gentil in the 4th minute of play. Dante Lacasa was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Júlio Gentil capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Júlio Gentil really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Sabino Vilhena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sabino Vilhena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Facundo Cadaval managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Facundo Cadaval was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vito de Godoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Sabino Vilhena fired a really elegant long shot, but Dante Lacasa threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. In the 30th minute, Sabino Vilhena reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dante Lacasa. The goal made the score 3-0. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiang Qing Lin in the 34th minute of play. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Jiang Qing Lin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vito de Godoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Henrique Candal sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the game, Júlio Gentil recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. Júlio Gentil showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sabino Vilhena was the one to do the kick off. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Candal, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vito de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 60th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabino Vilhena in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Matos Velhos's goalkeeper Vito de Godoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. After having played for 66 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vito de Godoi made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. Lautaro Mancebo kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Vito de Godoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Tord Böcklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vito de Godoi could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Matos Velhos's Bo Stam got a free kick in the 89th minute. Joel Gaona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Vito de Godoi made a huge save. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Gentil in the 90th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Matos Velhos could leave the field as winners, despite Mexico having more of the ball for most of the match.
