Natã Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Placido Belmiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Placido Belmiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 吕森辉 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natã Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Placido Belmiro sent off a good shot on target. Natã Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Belmiro in the 31st minute of play. Primitivo Andino made in the 34th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Primitivo Andino immediately put the ball in play. After 41 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Natã Travassos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 51st minute. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ≮王者归来≯★书中只有黄金屋★'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 袁迪真 in the 57th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the game, Primitivo Andino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Placido Belmiro in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 87th minute of the game Primitivo Andino made a throw-in which Cristian Sancho played forward. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Belmiro came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stasio Jaroszewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
