After 29 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. If Aurelio Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Duarte in the 32nd minute of play. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Gnaget leker's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. Salvador Gisbert was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 39 minutes into the match, Aurelio Duarte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurelio Duarte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When Randolph Pearman came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Gnaget leker fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Randolph Pearman couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Duarte in the 60th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gnaget leker's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oskar Petersson in the 62nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Johan Kruse got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Guillermo Mariano was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ragnar Österlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Ermegildo Indartsu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Ermegildo Indartsu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rommel Molotov in the 79th minute of the match. After 82 minutes of play, Gnaget leker's Ragnar Österlund made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the game, Aurelio Duarte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gnaget leker's Marcus Strandberg was substituted for Ragnar Österlund.
