An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Goncalves in the 18th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cassius Byrne took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frank Frankfurter. Frank Frankfurter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cassius Byrne in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frank Frankfurter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Goncalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Prospero Fix tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frank Frankfurter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 37th minute of play. After 39 minutes AQUILES's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 43rd minute of play forced AQUILES's goalkeeper Frank Frankfurter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the game Diego Bradley made a throw-in which Monty Rogers played forward. With a little luck, AQUILES's Frank Frankfurter got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frank Frankfurter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Prospero Fix ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Day was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natalio Guter during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Guter in the 79th minute of play. The supporters of USA booed when AQUILES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Castulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Frank Frankfurter, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. AQUILES's Frank Frankfurter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save AQUILES from getting a goal against them. Frank Frankfurter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khalid Parry in the 95th minute of the match. USA were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
