Ivan Chiuzbaian made an important save on a dangerous shot by 巩天帆 in the 20th minute. İlhami Akyazıcı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 张旭傲 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhao Sen Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zhao Sen Yang in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 张旭傲 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 巩天帆 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of the sword of Damocles booed when Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Jenaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see the sword of Damocles's Jeff Loomis in action when he in the 32nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 33 minutes into the match, Zhao Sen Yang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 张旭傲. the sword of Damocles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zhao Sen Yang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in the sword of Damocles's zone, İlhami Akyazıcı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 张旭傲 came out of the goal and İlhami Akyazıcı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s İlhami Akyazıcı got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 张旭傲 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zhao Sen Yang's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, 张旭傲 successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- made a substitution. Mugurel Pandele replaced İlhami Akyazıcı. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- made a substitution. Stasio Bienienda ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Mugurel Pandele to fire away a dangerous shot which 张旭傲 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 82nd minute 巩天帆 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Chiuzbaian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, 巩天帆 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. the sword of Damocles's supporters crossed their fingers, but 巩天帆 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, the sword of Damocles's 苏桑寒 got a free kick in the 85th minute. Ivan Chiuzbaian came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by the sword of Damocles's 汪霆邦. But to his dismay, 汪霆邦 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
