In the 8th minute, Jacek Ziemniak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pontus Sellberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Pontus Sellberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Knut Tingelholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. William Vennersten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakub Kuszczak in the 12th minute of play. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Honkens Bengaler BK! In the 20th minute Jakub Kuszczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Vennersten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. William Vennersten made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Jakub Kuszczak sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the game, Giorgos Psichogiopoulos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pontus Sellberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Oskar Carlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Pogoń1945Staszów's Pontus Sellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Oskar Carlsson in the 44th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Honkens Bengaler BK got a freekick which was hit by Rafal Witkowski. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Jakub Kuszczak might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over William Vennersten. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jakub Kuszczak ran back to his position shaking his head. Pogoń1945Staszów's Damazy Tscherner managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jacek Ziemniak in the 62 minute of the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pontus Sellberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A beautiful save bye Pogoń1945Staszów's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred Stigsson got free with Pontus Sellberg in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pontus Sellberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafal Witkowski in the 92nd minute of play. William Vennersten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izydor Dlugi in the 93rd minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
