Nereo Raymon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Kihlberg in the 10th minute of play. Cristo Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. san isidro's Mieszko Bierfass played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Errolan in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Kihlberg in the 14th minute of play forced Papulote FC's goalkeeper Nereo Raymon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Gonsalve hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Nereo Raymon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Kihlberg in the 20th minute of play. Nereo Raymon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gösta Kihlberg took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nereo Raymon. Nereo Raymon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Cristo Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Raymon having to interfere. Gösta Kihlberg struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Nereo Raymon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for san isidro.

The wind increased when Cristo Neto made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Álvaro Abraão in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nereo Raymon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Álvaro Abraão put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Nereo Raymon. 58 minutes into the match, Papulote FC's goalkeeper Nereo Raymon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristo Neto. Celso Errolan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the game, Cleto Camerino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Nereo Raymon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as san isidro's Gösta Kihlberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nereo Raymon. That made the score 0-5 after 85 minutes of play.
