Maurino Serena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ted Holmgren in the 17th minute. Delmar Mayor hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's Sven-Olof Stephansson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save A.D. Alcorcón from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Magnus Hansson during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alcorcón's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sundborn IF the free kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Belo Alvarez made the kick off in the second half. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Holmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manolo Bacete's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kalle Askberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Bernardo Pitta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sundborn IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.D. Alcorcón the free kick. A.D. Alcorcón made a substitution. Eriz Acha replaced Natxo Cacheres. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Sundborn IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of A.D. Alcorcón:s goal. In the 69th minute, Leroy Antunez made a precise shot to the right of Kalle Askberg. Sundborn IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Bacete in the 72nd minute of play forced Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Kalle Askberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Manolo Bacete notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Sundborn IF's Kalle Askberg. In the 90th match minute, Sundborn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Hansson to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Sundborn IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Isaac Ortiz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A.D. Alcorcón's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
