With a little luck, CD Municipal's George Forsyth got control of the ball when Şentürk Kose tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute Kılıçalp Onatsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Forsyth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to CD Municipal getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Tulio Andinyach hit a great ball. In the 11thth minute of the game Enrique Cassaretto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anatolia FC's Konrad Mosiniak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enrique Cassaretto might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Konrad Mosiniak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Cassaretto ran back to his position shaking his head. 14 minutes into the match, Anatolia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Cassaretto came free, but Konrad Mosiniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Cassaretto scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Konrad Mosiniak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Konrad Mosiniak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrique Cassaretto's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Tulio Andinyach might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Konrad Mosiniak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tulio Andinyach ran back to his position shaking his head. George Forsyth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobiasz Furgat in the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Anatolia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Cassaretto came free, but Konrad Mosiniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CD Municipal's George Forsyth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save CD Municipal from getting a goal against them. CD Municipal's George Forsyth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kılıçalp Onatsu in the 37th minute of play. Enrique Cassaretto struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Konrad Mosiniak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Municipal. 40 minutes into the match, Enrique Cassaretto notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Anatolia FC's Konrad Mosiniak. Konrad Mosiniak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Konrad Mosiniak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Cassaretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot by Özmen Gazzali from long distance, 47 minutes into the match, got George Forsyth's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The Anatolia FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CD Municipal were winning 0-2.

Halim Tuğ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. George Forsyth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game was made by Demircan Rafi with Kılıçalp Onatsu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience was convinced that Kılıçalp Onatsu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Forsyth was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. When Enrique Cassaretto came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the CD Municipal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Cassaretto couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Cassaretto in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konrad Mosiniak saved Anatolia FC from getting behind. Konrad Mosiniak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryota Miyagi in the 66th minute of play. After 70 played minutes CD Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Yunus Mahşer. Enrique Cassaretto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Konrad Mosiniak made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 78th minute of play forced Anatolia FC's goalkeeper Konrad Mosiniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Anatolia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Cassaretto came free, but Konrad Mosiniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Anatolia FC booed when CD Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iacob Roman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in CD Municipal's zone, Özmen Gazzali stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Forsyth came out of the goal and Özmen Gazzali tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Halim Tuğ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 played minutes Anatolia FC got a freekick which was hit by Demircan Rafi. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anatolia FC's goalkeeper Konrad Mosiniak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CD Municipal walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
