Kalle Askberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunvald Mitens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ted Kobbeltvedt made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Alf Hansson sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Alf Hansson put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ted Kobbeltvedt. If Ted Holmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Drik's Ted Kobbeltvedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Hansson in the 12th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Drik's Ted Kobbeltvedt got control of the ball when Alf Hansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Sundborn IF's Ted Holmgren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ted Kobbeltvedt. That made the score 2-0 after 17 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Holmgren in the 21st minute of play forced FC Drik's goalkeeper Ted Kobbeltvedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Drik were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Sundborn IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Willy Reitoft took the corner. After 27 minutes, Ernst Barskov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Drik and the Sundborn IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sundborn IF booed when FC Drik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernst Barskov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alf Hansson charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alf Hansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sundborn IF getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Alf Hansson hit a great ball. FC Drik's Ted Kobbeltvedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Drik from getting a goal against them. Alf Hansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Ted Kobbeltvedt made a huge save. 48 minutes into the match, FC Drik's goalkeeper Ted Kobbeltvedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ted Holmgren. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Ayvaz Taşkesen charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ayvaz Taşkesen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ayvaz Taşkesen hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Ted Holmgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Sundborn IF's Ted Holmgren in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Drik's goalie prevented a goal. Ted Holmgren scored 3-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ted Kobbeltvedt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Calvin Townsley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ernst Barskov hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The supporters of Sundborn IF booed when FC Drik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernst Barskov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Alf Hansson made a precise shot to the right of Ted Kobbeltvedt. FC Drik's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 86 minutes into the match, Kaloyan Mitashev notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of FC Drik's Ted Kobbeltvedt. Ted Kobbeltvedt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ted Kobbeltvedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaloyan Mitashev, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute Ernst Barskov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalle Askberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ted Kobbeltvedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaloyan Mitashev in the 92nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Magnus Hansson during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute, Karl-Magnus Hansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kaloyan Mitashev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Sundborn IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
