The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Benjamin Mikolas got a free kick in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the game, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Walter Giardino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Janusz Tomaka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Walter Giardino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Janusz Tomaka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Walter Giardino sped through FC Szombry's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Janusz Tomaka. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Giardino in the 15th minute of play forced FC Szombry's goalkeeper Janusz Tomaka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16thth minute of the game Walter Giardino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Szombry's Janusz Tomaka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 18 minutes of play, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Walter Giardino made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Janusz Tomaka was left in no man's land by his defense there! Janusz Tomaka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walter Giardino went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Szombry! In the 26th minute there was a penalty for tHe SOnS of rAGnar. Alexis Alexandris stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Janusz Tomaka. 0-5. 28 minutes into the match, Alexis Alexandris had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Janusz Tomaka. FC Szombry's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexis Alexandris was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. 32 minutes into the game, Walter Giardino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Janusz Tomaka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Walter Giardino took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Janusz Tomaka. Janusz Tomaka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. After 40 minutes of play, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Walter Giardino made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Janusz Tomaka was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 44 minutes, Walter Giardino made it 0-10 with a short kick to the right side. FC Szombry's Janusz Tomaka tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th minute, Walter Giardino made a precise shot to the right of Janusz Tomaka. FC Szombry's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-11.

Janusz Tomaka was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Walter Giardino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 53 minute of play. FC Szombry's Janusz Tomaka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Giardino in the 56th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Walter Giardino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Janusz Tomaka was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After some careless play in the FC Szombry defense, Alexis Alexandris kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Janusz Tomaka. The FC Szombry fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Janusz Tomaka should have stopped the shot. Janusz Tomaka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Giardino in the 69th minute of play. Walter Giardino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Janusz Tomaka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute of the match tHe SOnS of rAGnar got a corner. FC Szombry's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Grigoris Kornaros ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Alexis Alexandris to a score. 0-16 in the 73rd minute. In the 78th minute of the match, Telis Ntasios tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Janusz Tomaka saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. tHe SOnS of rAGnar were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after FC Szombry's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Grigoris Kornaros took the corner. Walter Giardino's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Janusz Tomaka skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 85th minute of the match, Alexis Alexandris got a very nice opportunity to score, but Janusz Tomaka was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Janusz Tomaka made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Walter Giardino sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Walter Giardino put it in 0-18 from a short distance just to the right of Janusz Tomaka. Walter Giardino had several of the FC Szombry's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 91 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-19 score and a disappointed Janusz Tomaka as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Walter Giardino came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the tHe SOnS of rAGnar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walter Giardino couldn't finish the play. Walter Giardino's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Janusz Tomaka skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. From close distance Walter Giardino pressed in the 0-20 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 97 minutes into the game. When the match was over tHe SOnS of rAGnar could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Szombry throughout the match.
