George Forsyth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Pitta in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 40th minute of play forced Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Kalle Askberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kalle Askberg. That made the score 2-0 after 43 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

CD Municipal's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
