No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Sundborn IF's Heigo Valt was substituted for Henning Bennet. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ted Holmgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sundborn IF's Kalle Askberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Tartales in the 65th minute of play. After 66 minutes Sundborn IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Peter Achenbach who took care of the corner kick. The corner led ............'s Czeslaw Jerzyk to fire away a dangerous shot which Kalle Askberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Peter Achenbach was slow to take the kick. During this time ............'s players had a chance to rest.
