Casimiro Edwardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horacio Fe during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Grêmio Meia Praia booed when Club Atlético Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Fe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fermin Mikolas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amílton Dantas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Amador Menendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Jokin came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Amílton Dantas could save by the left post. 74 minutes into the match, Grêmio Meia Praia's goalkeeper Amílton Dantas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Jokin. In the 78thth minute of the game Amador Menendo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Talleres's Casimiro Edwardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 79 minutes Club Atlético Talleres's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luiz Gustavo Dante who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Luiz Gustavo Dante almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Atlético Talleres's Casimiro Edwardo did a great save. In the 88th minute, Filipe Eanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Grêmio Meia Praia's Amílton Dantas got control of the ball when Hugo Jokin tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Francisco Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
