An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Chiriac in the 13th minute of play forced Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper Frederico Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mo Ning De sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Mo Ning De hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Atlético Atlanta's Paolo Caradaro got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mo Ning De in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Jaru-Uaru were awarded a corner. Mo Ning De went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 27th minute Paolo Caradaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederico Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Jaru-Uaru's Narciso Mendes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pankracy Glogowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcos Berdoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Frederico Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Fernando Vides in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pankracy Glogowski saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. If Nicasio Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Mugur Chiriac made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, Jaru-Uaru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Velislav Irinchev to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Mo Ning De had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pankracy Glogowski. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mo Ning De was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Frederico Zonta was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Mugur Chiriac capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mugur Chiriac really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Pankracy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Paolo Caradaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Jaru-Uaru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mo Ning De didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mo Ning De hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When Mugur Chiriac came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Club Atlético Atlanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mugur Chiriac couldn't finish the play.
