In the 2nd minute Amador Menendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Menendo came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atlético Atlanta's Mugur Chiriac came free and shot a quick shot against goal 8 minutes in the game, fortunately Amílton Dantas had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Soeiro in the 9th minute of play. A hard shot 12 in the game by Mugur Chiriac from a close distance when the talented Amílton Dantas managed to make a qualified save. Grêmio Meia Praia's players were relieved. Amílton Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Berdoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pankracy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Menendo in the 16th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Amador Menendo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pankracy Glogowski was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 19th minute of the match Grêmio Meia Praia got a corner. Club Atlético Atlanta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luiz Gustavo Dante ran over to the corner to take the kick. 27 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Menendo came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paolo Caradaro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Amílton Dantas firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amador Menendo in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pankracy Glogowski saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. Luiz Gustavo Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Pankracy Glogowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mugur Chiriac in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Amílton Dantas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 47th match minute, Grêmio Meia Praia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Isaio to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Jan-Arne Jasari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 49th minute Emil Chwalkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amílton Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amador Menendo was the one to do the kick off. When Grêmio Meia Praia's Luiz Gustavo Dante in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Grêmio Meia Praia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amador Menendo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Amador Menendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atlético Atlanta's Mugur Chiriac got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pankracy Glogowski came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio Meia Praia's Amador Menendo. But to his dismay, Amador Menendo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Gustavo Dante in the 78th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pankracy Glogowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amador Menendo in the 79th minute. Amador Menendo in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pankracy Glogowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 82nd minute, Mugur Chiriac left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Lino Normando kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If Mugur Chiriac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amílton Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Berdoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Club Atlético Atlanta were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Grêmio Meia Praia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emil Chwalkiewicz took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Marcos Berdoi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 95thth minute of the game Francisco Soeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Francisco Soeiro came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Grêmio Meia Praia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Soeiro couldn't finish the play.
