Amílton Dantas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. PREZULO FC's Isaac Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Menendo in the 5th minute of play. Amílton Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Turgut Soyuer in the 6th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Turgut Soyuer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When PREZULO FC's Turgut Soyuer in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grêmio Meia Praia's goalie prevented a goal. PREZULO FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Shi Xi Zhen in the 14th minute. PREZULO FC's Saulão Chettle was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Amílton Dantas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Amador Menendo took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaac Ferreira. Isaac Ferreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 22 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's Turgut Soyuer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amílton Dantas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Turgut Soyuer came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the PREZULO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Turgut Soyuer couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the game, PREZULO FC's Turgut Soyuer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amílton Dantas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Francisco Soeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaac Ferreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Soeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. A throw-in in the 45th minute of the game was made by Primitivo Dolfos with Juan Isaio as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 46 played minutes Grêmio Meia Praia got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Dolfos. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amador Menendo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Primitivo Dolfos in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by PREZULO FC's Albano Jaunzuria. A collision led to Grêmio Meia Praia getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Luiz Gustavo Dante hit a great ball. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grêmio Meia Praia's goalkeeper Amílton Dantas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Turgut Soyuer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amílton Dantas having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turgut Soyuer in the 58th minute of play forced Grêmio Meia Praia's goalkeeper Amílton Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Turgut Soyuer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amílton Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amílton Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turgut Soyuer in the 64th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Turgut Soyuer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amílton Dantas was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. When PREZULO FC's Elce Teleagă, in the 75th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for PREZULO FC. After some careless play in the Grêmio Meia Praia defense, Elce Teleagă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amílton Dantas. The Grêmio Meia Praia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amílton Dantas should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão de Brito in the 83rd minute of play forced Grêmio Meia Praia's goalkeeper Amílton Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franz Beckenbauer's late challenge caught a Grêmio Meia Praia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amílton Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betão de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PREZULO FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
