The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodovico Javia got free with Hílton Magalhães in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the match, Teodovico Javia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hílton Magalhães, 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dorival Vinhas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Botinho FC's Dorival Ortiz got a free kick in the 86th minute.
