Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amador Menendo in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lon Guridi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Amador Menendo sped through Fire Breathers FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lon Guridi. Lon Guridi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Menendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After having played for 11 minutes, Amador Menendo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio Meia Praia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amador Menendo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Solustiano Tudela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílton Dantas having to interfere. Fire Breathers FC's Lon Guridi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Soeiro in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Alday in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amílton Dantas saved Grêmio Meia Praia from getting behind. Amílton Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Alday in the 63rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amador Menendo got free with Lon Guridi in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Grêmio Meia Praia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
