Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Polo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Polo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfonso Polo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 13th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Felix Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfonso Polo having to make a save. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfonso Polo came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 24 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfonso Polo. Real Academia Serengetti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Guillermo Emesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfonso Polo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 31st minute, Silvano Grabiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Polo having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Pedro Bemabe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Real Academia Serengetti's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Polo came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 42 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfonso Polo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Real Academia Serengetti defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfonso Polo. The Real Academia Serengetti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfonso Polo should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guillermo Emesto was the one to do the kick off. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Real Academia Serengetti's Alfonso Polo. Alfonso Polo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alfonso Polo. That made the score 0-10 after 59 minutes of play. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfonso Polo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Real Academia Serengetti's Alfonso Polo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute of play. Lisandro Esquipula kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alfonso Polo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 78th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Alfonso Polo. Real Academia Serengetti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. Alfonso Polo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 81st minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Alfonso Polo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Polo having to interfere. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Alfonso Polo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfonso Polo. Alfonso Polo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Real Academia Serengetti throughout the match.
