Real Academia Serengetti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. In the 2nd minute, Rodrigo Abeijon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 6 played minutes Real Academia Serengetti got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Bemabe. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Real Academia Serengetti's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Polo came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Real Academia Serengetti's Alfonso Polo. Alfonso Polo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a rather tough play, Real Academia Serengetti's Segundo Cordairo got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Real Academia Serengetti's Lisandro Esquipula got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 36 played minutes, Mexico's Joel Gaona shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alfonso Polo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mexico reached it. Alfonso Polo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 37th minute of the match. Alfonso Polo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 48 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Real Academia Serengetti's Alfonso Polo. Alfonso Polo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 54 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Alfonso Polo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Abeijon in the 58th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. Rodrigo Abeijon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 60th minute Rodrigo Abeijon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfonso Polo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 minutes, Celso Vimaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Academia Serengetti and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Celso Vimaro hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The audience cheered loudly when Joel Gaona's long shot in the 68th minute became 0-10 when the ball went to the left of and passed Alfonso Polo. In the 72nd minute, Mexico's Joel Gaona dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. In the 76th minute, Alberto Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-12. After a rather tough play, Real Academia Serengetti's Maximo Vito got a free kick in the 78th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Real Academia Serengetti fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! Joel Gaona placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! When Segundo Cordairo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. 86 minutes into the game, one of Real Academia Serengetti:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 91st minute, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alfonso Polo. Alfonso Polo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-14. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Alfonso Polo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfonso Polo was a little too slow when Luca Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 0-15. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
