The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leontin Nedelciu in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind ABK Black Warriors73's goalkeeper Angelo Baciadonne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 9 minutes into the game, Mihnea Gârleanu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. Mihnea Gârleanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 12th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Baciadonne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vali Aurelianu in the 27th minute of play. Angelo Baciadonne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 37th minute of play. Valeriu Zoreanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. In the 47thth minute of the game Joel Gaona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ABK Black Warriors73's Angelo Baciadonne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. ABK Black Warriors73's Angelo Baciadonne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, ABK Black Warriors73's goalkeeper Angelo Baciadonne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by ABK Black Warriors73's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vali Aurelianu in the 57th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alex Lera who took care of the corner kick. Alberto Tafalla came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Angelo Baciadonne could save by the left post. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by ABK Black Warriors73's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Luca Zorita made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that ABK Black Warriors73's Angelo Baciadonne managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, ABK Black Warriors73's Angelo Baciadonne got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, ABK Black Warriors73's Dian Šošoka got a free kick in the 65th minute. ABK Black Warriors73's Angelo Baciadonne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 66th minute of play. In the 77th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Angelo Baciadonne was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Angelo Baciadonne threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihnea Gârleanu in the 81st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mexico booed when ABK Black Warriors73 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florin Ciuvică didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Joel Gaona fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to ABK Black Warriors73 getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Alex Lera hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelo Baciadonne narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto Tafalla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Angelo Baciadonne. That made the score 2-2 in the 91 minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
