In the 25th minute, Chile's Jose Manzanedo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jose Manzanedo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Chile protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jose Manzanedo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilbert Pusiak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Xavier Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Pusiak in the 52nd minute of the match. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patryk Ferfecki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlando Casaus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serter Sadik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of LKS Wisła Szczucin booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Pozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damian Gurgul, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal.
