Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dorel Cretu took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, FC Truseni's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Anibal Aritza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Truseni's Anibal Aritza. Anibal Aritza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Dorel Cretu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dorel Cretu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. In the 21st minute of the match, Teodor Cornea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Anibal Aritza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 28th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Teodor Cornea managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Truseni's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodor Cornea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tomas Illescas fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Tomas Illescas a yellow card for diving instead. Dorel Cretu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodor Cornea in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorel Cretu in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alexei Jereghi, made in the 56th minute of the game. 58 minutes into the match, FC Truseni's Leonid Nazaria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC Truseni's Dorin Dobã got a free kick in the 61st minute. A hard shot by Tomas Illescas from long distance, 62 minutes into the match, got Anibal Aritza's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 65th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anibal Aritza was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. FC Truseni made a substitution. Eugen Tabãrã replaced Radu Briceag. FC Truseni made a substitution. Sandu Perju replaced Tudor Buga. After 73 minutes of play, FC Truseni's Dorel Cretu made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patricio Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anibal Aritza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. Teodor Cornea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonid Nazaria in the 86th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Pãduret, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. George Pãduret recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling George Pãduret in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th match minute, FC Truseni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorin Dobã to maneuver through the defense. FC Truseni walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
